Only 15 miles south of the popular colonial town of Paraty, is the small fishing village of Trindade. The second waterfall is much less visited and perfect for a peaceful outdoor adventure.
There is a bus that takes travelers to Trinidade from Paraty. It leaves every 40 minutes from Trinidade beginning around 5am and the last one leaves slightly after 11pm. Another option is to take a boat tour from Paraty to Trinidade. Paraty is a popular destination for beach lovers because although the lovely town does not have any major beaches within its limits it is close to 65 islands and over 300 beaches.

The French mainland has water on more or less three sides - the Atlantic, the English Channel - or La Manche as the French prefer to call it - and the Mediterranean.
The Côte d'Azur (literally, the blue coast ) stretches the whole length of south-facing Mediterranean coast from Marseilles in the west to Menton in the east, while the French Riviera is the posh eastern section from about Cannes to Menton.

French Riviera Beach

Seignosse is a newish beach resort on the Atlantic coast 3 kms from old Seignosse village and stretches along 6 kms of surf-pounded, dune-embraced sand, offering all the necessary facilities for families and surfers alike, from surf schools, kid's beach club, water park and forest cycle trails to a fine golf course of the same name. Seignosse is south of Bordeaux and north of Biarritz, accessed via TGV to Bayonne, then bus or taxi.
6.) Cap d'Agde near Montpellier is naturist-friendly, in other words get your kit off. Not just in terms of nudist beaches but the entire city - from restaurants to banks - goes for the natural look.
7.) La Rochelle, a charming port town on the Atlantic coast is one of the most handsome seaside resorts in France. The area has miles of safe sandy beaches especially on nearby islands, and with shallow water they are great for young families.
8.) La Baule, an 8 mile crescent beach on the Atlantic coast in Brittany is the longest sand stretch in Europe. Nowhere near as elegant as the French Riviera, but its good value facilities are ideal for families.
9.) La Sauzair, at Bretignolles-sur-Mer on the Vendée coast is the best for surf, while the resort of Bretignolles has wide sandy beaches and rocky coves.

Phuket and Patong are the main tourist destinations on the island, with the latter being for the party crowd rather than for people who just want to relax. Scuba Diving in North Sulawesi - The Natural Wonders of Bunaken and Lembeh Strait

The diving in North Sulwesi is focused in two main areas, the Bunaken National Marine Park and the famous muck diving capital of Lembeh Strait. Lembeh Strait is widely acknowledged as being the 'muck diving' capital of the world, and offers what can only be described as a truly unique experience in diving. The diving itself is shaped by the black sandy bottom of the ocean in the region, which is home to a wide selection of critters and smaller marine life. It is for this reason that underwater photographers often choose to make the longer journey out to Lembeh Strait, to sample some of the finest opportunities for underwater macro photography to be found anywhere in South East Asia. Bunaken - A Marine Paradise on Earth

Bunaken Marine Park is considered as one of the best places in the world for diving and snorkeling. Located just offshore the North Sulawesi capital of Manado, Bunaken offers untouched beauty of nature. It was first established as a national marine park in 1991 and it covers an area of 89,605 hectares. It is one of the most beautiful places that I have ever visited in my lives.

There are a couple of ways to enjoy the diving experience at Bunaken.
* First option, you can stay in Manado and take a boat in the morning to the nearby islands to start your diving trip.
* Your second option is to actually stay in one the five islands around Manado and enjoy the ultimate diving experience as soon as you get up from your bed.
It does not matter which options you choose, you will be inspired by the beauty of Bunaken.
During my visit, I decided to stay in Manado because I wanted to explore the other attractions of North Sulawesi. I stayed at Ritzy hotel, located 10 minutes walk from the harbor. The hotel is one of the upscale hotels in Manado. As soon as I arrived, I visited the mainland attractions, such as Lake Tondano, located in the Minahasa highland. Lake Tondano offers a serene environment deep in the mountains. I had the luxury of hiring a guide for all of our trips. A guide is highly recommended for various reasons, especially comfort. A guide will cost you from USD$ 40 to USD$ 60, depending on where you are going. This price usually includes the car rental, gas, and all the information that you want to know from the guide.
The next day, I went for my first bunaken diving experience. Important to remember: Make sure you already have your diving certificate. You can also complete your diving certificate here if you want to do so. I went to Bastianos diving resort to arrange my diving itinerary. I can only say one thing of my diving experience: It was marvelous. Clear visibility up to 30 meters, warm refreshing water temperature, 3,000 types of fish and 300 types of coral. It was nothing like I had ever seen before.
Diving price here usually varies from resort to resort. One thing for certain is that you need to pay for admission to enter the marine park, whether you are diving or not. Daily admission is USD$ 5 or USD$ 15 for a full year admission. As I have mentioned before, diving package usually varies from resort to resort. There are five main islands that you can choose to visit: Bunaken, Manado Tua, Montehagen, Nain and Siladen. Each island offers different ecosystem, thus different diving experience. If you are an experienced diver, you can go for more challenging dives near Siladen Island.

For such a small island, it's amazing how many different types of Bali beaches there are. You have beaches with white sand and palm trees, but there are also the black volcanic beaches where you can find great Bali scuba diving sites or cliff beaches which are mostly popular among surfers.

Here is a list of our 6 favorite Bali beaches. They all differ from each other but they are mostly the beaches where you want to chill out on the soft sand during you beach holiday in Bali.
Jimbaran - South Bali
Jimbaran is located just under Kuta beach. Unlike the other beaches located north of Jimbaran and popular among travelers, this beach has soft clean sand and most importantly it is very quiet.
Unlike other Bali beaches hawkers are not allowed here, so once on Jimbaran beach you can fully enjoy the sun and refreshing sea breeze.
And when the sun is about to set and you get hungry you can stroll to the many restaurants located on the beach. Enjoy grilled seafood and a good glass of wine by candle light...
Sanur - South Bali
Sanur beach is a clean beach set along a walking path and a string of Bali beach resorts. A lot of activities take place at this beach, from sunbathing on the comfortable sunbeds, massages on the beach, to renting traditional boats to go on a tour along the coast line.
A great thing about this beach is that you can stroll along the walking path for miles on end. Every now and then you can stop for some drinks and food or to check the many shops right at the beach.
Padang Padang - South Bali
Padang Padang beach is set in a bay, so you need to climb down a few stairs to get there. It's a beautiful beach and because it's set within a bay it feels very secluded.
Besides its soft sand the water here is amazingly clear and has a green-blue emerald color. On specific times during the day it's a popular spot for surfers because of the great waves. But most of the time the water is calm here. Just as the whole atmosphere at this beach, very relaxing...
Balangan - South Bali
Balangan beach only has a couple of accommodation options available, which makes it a very quiet place to spend a couple of days on the beach.
Surfers come here to catch some waves, but at low tide puddles form near the beach where you can lie in and cool down. The soft sand makes it a perfect spot for a stroll while enjoying the sunset.
Pasir Putih - East Bali
Pasir Putih means white beach and this description is not an exaggeration. It's one of the whitest Bali beaches we've seen so far on the island. With the dark blue ocean on one side and the palm trees on the other, you can say that this beach is picture post card perfect.
Surprisingly, but maybe also luckily there is no tourist development here. So don't expect hotels or big restaurants. Instead there are only a handfull of warungs (small restaurants) along the beach and a couple of sunbeds.
Nevertheless, if you want to experience the white tropical beach then this is the place to be...
Balian - West Bali
Balian beach has black sand and the water here is mostly attractive for surfers than for those who want to take a dip.
So why is this one of our favorite Bali beaches?
I guess it's the whole atmosphere, it very laid back and it's a place where you can relax, feel the seabreeze, walk along the beach and enjoy each others company. To fully appreciate Balian beach you should plan to stay there at least one night. There are a couple of nice places to stay here, so that won't be a problem...

Jimbaran Beach

Jimbaran beach is one of Bali's best beaches and stretches itself out for 5 miles. It starts at the Ngurah Rai International airport and ends at the glamorous Four Seasons resort. The village is traditionally a fishing village and they are still very active. You can find the fishermen coming ashore early in the morning where their catch finds its way to the popular fish market.

Here the representatives of many resorts in the south of Bali come to buy their first class fish.
There are some really good resorts and hotels where you can stay in this little village. There's the above mentioned Four Season Resort, the Intercontinental Bali, the Puri Jimbaran Resort and the Keraton all with direct access to the beach.

Your troubles will simply wash away in the soft island serenity of this great beach vacation destination. Brighton Beach is a great place to stay for your Caribbean beach vacation and the most popular here. If you want a little more privacy you can get secluded villas around the island. Taking that horseback ride on the beach will feel as if you're in a movie and I would highly recommend trying it. Probably my second favorite beach vacation overall.
Turks and Caicos Islands:
Like long beach walks? At 12 miles long, Grace Bay is simply a phenomenal stretch of soft white sand with smaller luxury resorts, spas and great restaurants perfect for a beach honeymoon vacation. And the water color is the most vibrant translucent turquoise... I love it! Seems that many movie stars and rock stars like it too with several owning homes and vacationing here on some of the 8 secluded islands all with fantastic beaches. Turks & Caicos has long been a diver's paradise with great deep-sea and bone fishing too! Taking the kids? Well, Beaches Resort consistently gets high marks as one of the world's best family beach vacation spots.
Bahamas:
Technically not in the Caribbean, but with so many beautiful beaches I had to add it to the best beach vacation list... it's close enough. Paradise Island is great fun especially swimming with the dolphins, which is an experience of a lifetime. The diving here is fantastic because of the calm waters and enjoying the nightlife is all kinds of fun. For a secluded romantic get-a-way try the pink sand beach on Harbor Island.
British Virgin Islands & U.S. Virgin Islands:
Both make great beach vacations, especially for island hopping. Having a chance to easily enjoy not 1, 2, but potentially 3 islands or more each with it's own charm make for one of the best beach vacation spots. Trunk Bay on St. John is particularly gorgeous and popular with calm waters and an underwater snorkeling "trail."
Cayman Islands:
A very entertaining destination with odd things like feeding iguanas grapes while dining at a restaurant. Definitely worth it for the pictures! Three islands in all, its another great place to island hop and enjoy waterfall climbing, extensive shark diving, and swimming with the stingrays and shopping, shopping, shopping.
Dominican Republic:
Here is a place you can go for a cheap beach vacation and still enjoy all the splendid beauty of a Caribbean island. Have a great time scuba diving, swimming with dolphins, deep sea fishing and hiking. Fabulous beaches too!
Anguilla:
A fun Caribbean beach vacation to tell your friends about. It's the only area known in the Caribbean to have beautiful white sandy beaches deserted during peak season, which makes this a great place for couples to enjoy. Especially with activities that include windsurfing, scuba diving, and snorkeling. Oh, and if you love seafood, all I can say is, "The best chefs in the Caribbean!"
St. Lucia:
A honeymooners delight. Think jazz music, small island, secluded and intimate and that is St. Lucia. Beautiful beaches, lush tropical foliage, scenic mountains, spectacular sunsets and typically many great all-inclusive packages are offered. It all makes for a very seductive beach honeymoon vacation.
Hey, I could add a couple more since the Caribbean is full of beautiful and interesting places. Some may offer a little better snorkeling or fishing, larger or smaller hotels, more seclusion or more nightlife, but all are wonderful in their own way. You really can't go wrong with these when planning and dreaming of your next Caribbean beach vacation!
